Hi! I’m Macy! I received my Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX and Masters degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. In 2021, my husband and I moved to Charleston for his job at MUSC.

I spent 2 years in the public schools working with preschool and elementary-aged children with a variety of communication disorders and diagnoses. I have experience working with Autism, early language intervention, articulation and phonology, childhood apraxia of speech, and AAC. I love connecting with my kids, finding their strengths, and creating a safe and trusting environment to learn together.

Outside of work you can find me on a walk with my 2 dogs, trying all the best restaurants in Charleston, drinking coffee, or reading a book on the beach!
