Louise D. Covington

Louise D. Covington (MSP, CCC-SLP) received her undergraduate degree in Education from Furman University and her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Carolina.

Louise evaluates and treats clients of various ages from birth to young adult who experience a variety of communication differences including developmental disabilities, receptive and expressive language delays, articulation and phonological impairments, social and pragmatic impairments, stuttering, auditory-verbal training, and early intervention. She is trained in pediatric feeding disorders and is an Inside Out Sensory-Trained therapist for the neurodivergent population. Louise provides her clients with fun, play-based, functional therapy to achieve success in engaging and communicating with family and friends.

Louise has practiced speech-language pathology in Colorado and Texas. She is delighted to be back in her home state of South Carolina spending time with her husband and two elementary-aged children, playing violin and cello for her church, and enjoying time at the beach and the mountains.
