Alecia Tulley
Originally from North Carolina, Alecia started her college years at NC State (Go Wolfpack!) however transferred after two years to pursue her bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Linguistics from UNC Chapel Hill. She then went on to obtain her Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
After graduation, Alecia moved to the Charleston, SC area to begin her career as a Speech Language Pathologist. She has worked extensively in pediatrics with home health and clinic experience. She has a passion for helping children and families navigate the world of early intervention and beyond into all levels of communication development. She consistently works collaboratively alongside all caregivers, teachers, and other therapists.
Alecia has gained experience working with kiddos with various diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), hearing impairment, early language delays, Down Syndrome, developmental delay, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, social skill deficits, literacy delays, and speech sound deficits. She is PROMPT trained, LSVT Loud Certified, and has training with Orton-Gillingham.
During her time off, Alecia loves spending time with her husband Patrick and two furbabies, Kenna and Gunner. They enjoy trying new restaurants in the area, playing kickball, and traveling with their dogs.
